misfit ‘mɪsfɪt’ noun – a person whose behaviour or attitude sets them apart from others in an uncomfortably conspicuous way
Hello there ^_^ Thank you for stopping by at my blog because that probably means you’re looking to read my legacy. So thank you :3
Anyway, welcome to the Hackett legacy, under the title of “A Legacy of Misfits” – aka my first attempt at publishing a full, proper Sims 3 story.
I should probably mention this isn’t a typical legacy – I don’t exactly follow the rules and am mainly just sticking to the 10-generation-choose-an-heir-each-generation thing with minimal cheats possible (however story will always take precedence over “the rules”).
And… that’s basically all you need to know. Keep going to see links to the beginning of each generation (click the banners!), or you can go to the “chapter list” page above if you want to go to a specific chapter.

The first and current generation: Briar Hackett
After a life of being ignored and neglected by her family, Briar moves away from Sunset Valley with her three closest friends to live in the big city of Bridgeport. But, Briar soon learns that not everything is perfect about independence and living away from family, and has to deal with the drama of work, friendship and of course, love and all its issues – a lot of which while she is still in her teenage years.
Hi there! I found your blog through the EA forum. My Sims blog started just recently too (not doing a strict legacy either because the rules and scoring get a bit overwhelming). Will be cheering on for you and Gen. 1 🙂
Hi! Thanks for checking my legacy out! 😀 Yeah, the whole scoring and points thing is just eh for me. 😛 Thank you for the comment and I’ll definitely look at your sim blog!
boookmarked and will read after work

Loving your story so far. Keep posting!
Ahh thanks!! I do plan to update more often now – I’m on school holidays 😀
